3 months after the release of the Crimson DLC for Halo 4 a new set of maps is headed our way. The H4 Castle Map Pack will be available for players to purchase on Xbox Live come April 8th. The new content includes 3 new multiplayer maps: Daybreak, Outcast, and Perdition, plus the addition of a new matchmaking playlist: Castle DLC.
This is a rather large map with two opposing bases. Players will have the ability to take advantage of vehicles and high powered weapons such as the sniper rifle and rocket launcher to assault the enemy team with. This will be a great map for Big Team Infinity Slayer and objective based games like Capture the Flag.
Outcast is an interesting map. The layout is circular in shape and on the map players will find the Mantis and Wraith. Controlling these vehicles will be key to success on this bigger map. There are tunnels to traverse as well as smaller bases around the map for player vs player combat.
Perdition is another larger map where power weapons and vehicles will be utilized greatly. There are interior corridors to explore and take cover in.
The Castle Map Pack will be dropping on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Halo 4 players April 8th. It will be available for 800 Microsoft Points for those that haven’t purchased the season pass for the game.
Along with the maps this update will also introduce a new 6 v 6 playlist called Castle DLC.
